ABOUT

My name is Ryan X. Messcher, and I’m an audio professional based out of Massachusetts. While I wear many hats, my work primarily revolves around voice acting and composing.My interests in both music and acting blossomed early in life. As a child, I took acting classes with Boston Casting and drum lessons from my local music shop, which were incredibly formative experiences. I continued to hone my artistic skills by participating in my school's drama club, improv comedy groups, Destination Imagination, and more bands and ensembles than I care to list!Behind the microphone, I’ve had the privilege of learning directly from some of the industry’s titans, including some of my personal heroes, Crispin Freeman, Rick Zieff, and Sara Secora.As an actor, I’ve been fortunate enough to lend my voice to numerous projects. I’m perhaps most well-known for voicing the lovable, albeit slightly overzealous, Burgess in Pathea Games’ My Time at Sandrock. Other notable characters include The Faceless from Webtoon’s Fog Land and my portrayal of Jack “The Voice” Reynolds from A Song for the Damned, which earned me a nomination for “Best Voice Actor” at the Spooktober awards.Regarding my credentials as a composer, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Film Scoring and a minor in Video Game Scoring. During my time there, I had the opportunity to study with some remarkable industry professionals, including Sheldon Mirowitz, Claudio Ragazzi, and Duncan Watt. Since graduating in 2022, I’ve made it a point to never go too long before sitting behind the piano!
